Description

The Lake Houston Pump Station to Siphon 6 Main Canal Levee Improvements project will consist of levee re-grading, raising, and widening, shifting the existing canal to the north in some areas, land clearing and grubbing, installation of fencing and erosion protection, removal of existing structures and concrete rubble, headwall extensions, and drainage culvert rehabilitation. This project will improve flow, capacity, and reliability in this section of the canal. The project limits begin at the Lake Houston Pump Station Outfall and end on the upstream side of Golf Club Drive near Siphon 6. The majority of these levee improvements will take place in dry conditions.
