Watermark Awards at Texas Water 2025

SJRA’s Public Communications Department was awarded two Watermark Awards for the SJRA Lake Conroe Story Map as well as for school tours. This story map is an educational piece to help the public understand more of the functions of how SJRA manages Lake Conroe in a fun and digestible way. In an effort to increase public outreach with the community, SJRA has hosted many tour groups for local schools. SJRA is eager for students, young and old, in our area to understand how we work for the community’s water. Our Public Communications team is always working to develop new creative strategies for communicating with the public and helping them understand all the services that SJRA provides.
